This is a copy of an 1930s style Bistro chair designed around aesthetics of that era, when quality was the criteria. Yes! they are made to last years. They are hand made and electrostatically spray painted with a resin 2 part mix paint.
The wood is English Elm and we also have them with Claret Ash which is a lighter colored wood, Riveted together with stainless washers between the moving parts and stainless rivets fixing the wood slats.
